About Quanthym

Operator-led growth and commercialization for companies building what comes next.

Quanthym is a growth and commercialization firm founded by Gary Burtka, an executive operator with more than two decades of experience building teams, launching markets, developing strategic partnerships, and turning promising products into measurable commercial growth.

We work with founders, leadership teams, and international companies that need more than recommendations. They need experienced judgment, clear priorities, high-value relationships, and practical execution.

Quanthym helps companies commercialize products, enter new markets, build credibility, develop partnerships, and create the systems required for sustainable growth.

Built From Operating Experience

Gary Burtka has worked across startups, global technology companies, ecommerce, digital advertising, payments, consumer products, agencies, and emerging business models.

His experience includes leadership roles and commercial work involving:

  • Lands’ End
  • Ticketmaster
  • Criteo
  • RTB House
  • PayEye
  • StarHouse Games

At RTB House, Gary served as the company’s first U.S. employee and U.S. Country Manager, helping build the American operation from the ground up. His responsibilities included commercial strategy, enterprise sales, partnerships, recruiting, operations, marketing, account management, and the development of the local team.

At PayEye, he led North American operations and helped establish the U.S. business, develop merchant and institutional partnerships, and launch the company’s first North American biometric payment pilot.

Across these roles, Gary has secured enterprise customers, developed strategic partnerships, launched pilots, built teams, entered unfamiliar markets, and operated through the uncertainty that accompanies real commercial growth.

That experience shapes how Quanthym works today.

Our Perspective

Strong products do not automatically create successful companies.

Markets move when customers understand the opportunity, trust the company, believe the product can deliver, and feel confident enough to act.

That requires more than marketing activity.

It requires:

  • Clear commercial positioning
  • The right market-entry strategy
  • Credible early customers and partners
  • Strong business development
  • Measurable proof
  • Effective sales and growth systems
  • Operational discipline
  • Experienced leadership

Quanthym helps companies connect these elements into a coordinated commercial system.

What Quanthym Does

Our work spans five connected areas.

Commercialization

We help companies turn products, technologies, services, and ideas into viable market opportunities through positioning, market-entry planning, early customer development, pilots, partnerships, and proof.

Growth

We identify what is constraining revenue and build the sales, marketing, partnership, conversion, retention, and operating systems required for repeatable growth.

Strategic Advisory

We provide founders and leadership teams with experienced commercial guidance, decision support, fractional leadership, and practical oversight across growth, sales, market entry, and operations.

U.S. Market Expansion

We help international companies establish the positioning, relationships, infrastructure, credibility, and early traction required to enter and grow in the United States.

Business Development

We identify, open, and advance high-value relationships with enterprise customers, strategic partners, distributors, platforms, institutions, and market stakeholders.

How We Work

Quanthym operates at the intersection of strategy and execution.

Some clients need a focused commercialization or growth strategy.

Others need active support with partnerships, customer development, market entry, sales, pilots, or execution.

Engagements may include:

  • Strategic assessments
  • Project-based initiatives
  • Ongoing advisory
  • Fractional executive leadership
  • Business development programs
  • U.S. market-entry support
  • Growth strategy and execution
  • Commercial operating support

Every engagement is scoped around the company’s specific market, stage, resources, challenges, and objectives.

We do not force companies into fixed packages or standardized retainers.

Who We Work With

Quanthym is best suited for:

  • Founders preparing to launch or commercialize a product
  • Companies with strong products but limited market traction
  • International businesses entering the United States
  • Growth-stage companies facing stalled or fragmented growth
  • Leadership teams without a senior commercial executive
  • Companies pursuing enterprise customers or strategic partnerships
  • Investors and boards supporting portfolio-company growth
  • Organizations bringing new technologies or business models to market

We are particularly effective when the opportunity is real, but the path to market adoption is unclear.

Why Quanthym

Quanthym is not built around theoretical consulting.

The work is informed by direct operating experience, commercial accountability, and an understanding of what happens when strategy meets actual market resistance.

We know that growth rarely depends on one channel, one campaign, or one sales tactic.

It depends on the interaction between credibility, positioning, relationships, execution, proof, and timing.

Our role is to help companies identify what matters most, focus resources where they can create leverage, and move from market potential to commercial momentum.
